What I Love...

What I love about my 18 month old (as of today!):

*he loves to repeat everything he hears
*he LOVES books
*he could care less about TV (plus we don't have cable so he can't watch anything anyhow!)
*he loves to make the noises of all the animals (including "roaaarrr" for the dinosaurs).
*he informs me that diaper cream goes on his "b-uutt"
*he knows all of his grandparents' names (well, what he calls them) and some aunts and uncles too!
*he calls his cousin Olivia, Livia, very affectionately.
*he can say I love you
*he loves a meal with any kind of noodle and screams out "pasta!"
*he sees a carton of ice cream and again screams "iiicccce cream-e!" (However, mysteriously we never buy ice cream? Wonder where he learned it?!?)
*he is always content with a ball or a stick or a book to entertain himself
*he can independently play for long periods of time (like when Mommy gets ready for work or needs to clean)
*he loves being outside and getting dirty. We can always take him out with us to do yard work and he will explore and play on his own.
*he doesn't throw up daily anymore
*he understands when things are dangerous or what we mean when we say "no"
*when you ask him about his favorite Bible story and what Jesus did to the storm on the ocean...he holds up his hand and yells "STOP! BE STILL."
*his constant hugs and kisses (*muah*)

***everything about him...from the top of his head with his curly black locks to his stinky little toes!

That's beautiful Nina. I hope you save it so he can read it someday when he's grown!
